AIM: To learn and apply ‘design’ as a tool to enhance educational spaces in an urban context to create an effective and unique architectural dialogue which transfers knowledge beyond four walls of a classroom and within a quad DESIGN OBJECTIVE: To design a Higher Secondary School (8th to 12th Standard) with required infrastructure along with necessary amenities/ services and dormitories.
• To study about the site context set in urban area in order to improve the overall spatial quality with effective design strategies /architectural /construction /services /sustainable /climate oriented detailing w.r.t. light, ventilation, building materials, acoustics, wall treatments, façade detailing etc. to enable the students to focus on better learning environments for thoughtfulness.
• To enable them to be well rounded with multi-faceted or innovative classrooms, vocational training areas and ancillary spaces or recreational areas to inculcate creative thinking and skill development.
