“NEXUS” means connectivity. To make the pavilion timeless, we chose a spherical form because of it’s fractal nature. It also represents the idea of a Time Portal as it does not have a beginning nor an end, and through these voids infinite number of things can pass through indefinitely. The smooth, simple skin of the exterior represents the digital city. The interior projections make up a dynamic irregular surface that mimic the complex connections which in turn create the digital city. Overall experience for the user makes him/her explorative , excited and curious. Through our pavilion design we hope to address the modular design language that a digital city requires.
