This project is about to design an airport terminal of Baghdogra International Airport in Siliguri. Hence this project belongs to GRIHA trophy 2019-20.
This airport terminal is designed as the net-zero energy efficient, that it generates renewable energy in the site itself during construction, working and demolishing for the better sustainable future. The materials used for the construction of terminal to make it net zero produce low carbon footprints on site.
Locally available materials has been used to reduce the construction cost and reviving the vernacular architecture of Siliguri. As we know that the terminals on this concept is very frequent and efficient, also required to built such terminal in our country, so we hope that this concept will help reviving the damaged environment.
