Walking on a cultural trail.
Placed over the water this gallery is ment to, not only display the treasures found underwater, but also to be a part of a larger chain of places of cultural interest of the city of Chania, Greece. This museum consists of a main gallery, underground lecture halls, research labs and a library. The initial idea was to create a building that can also be seen as a path to walk onto and into. This fluidity of the spaces is transerred to the whole design trough lines that flow to the three dimensions, ignoring the usual principles of the orthonormal.
