According to the sangam poetry, NEITHAL – SEASHORE is described as extraordinary freshness of its realm. From behind the conventional symbolization of waiting there emerges a pictures of the life of the fisherfolk; the nets and boats drawn up on the beach, scuttling crabs and cart wheels bogged down in the sand, the odor of drying fish, cut into thick slices, and the wind blowing through the cracks in the constructed straw huts at night.
Singarathope was one of the popular fishing port located near by old cuddalore town but also one of the undeveloped village in cuddalore. One of the oldest fishing port which is on its way to fade away
It has issues more than designing for more facilities and modernistic approach to buildings.
People who are all living around were connected together because of this port. but they are not connected together inside. They have so many different thoughts and different approach on different peoples, and its not good for the society. and also they were disconnected between the people who are visiting and who are working.
