Though it looks like an ambiguous term, it defines the architectural characteristics of a heritage building and it is the most detailed type of recording done to understand the spatial planning, facade treatments, striking elements, construction techniques, material used along with its connect towards the vernaculars of the location
As a part of our documentation and presentation trail, we have worked on exploring and understanding in detail on the architecture of Pudhukottai, and documented Mannar Rajagopalathondaiman palace, Pudhukottai (At present Pudhukottai, Collector’s office).
